They had one daughter Mary, who went on to Marry a man by the last name Carpenter and all these half cousins now reside in Seattle Washington USA.
His family Leach were descendants of the Daughters of the Revolution.
another claim to fame, with our Sarah Doherty of Quebec, John Walter Danher my great granddad and his first wife Sarah had one Daughter Jane and she married a man from Illinois Thomas Leach and they had the one daughter Mary Leach... who then she went on to marry Carpenter whose descendants all live in Seattle USA... though back up to Jane and Thomas Leach, it was said that Mary Carpenter was trying to find out if Thomas was a descendant of the Daughters of the American Revolution and I am pretty sure that our cousin Michael Danaher told as much that they were..connected to the Leach family of Kentucky and Virginia...
