Danhers/Danahers and Danaghers
We the Danhers hail from County Limerick and we predominantly have Philips in our line because in the 1600's we came very close to being shipped off to the Caribbean to become slaves by the English Lords on the Irish Peasants.....
A couple of good reads are the article above which tells the story of the Danahers of Kerry and Limerick , which all started with Maurice and Philip as brothers finding out about the slave ships and hid from the English in Mountains to escape capture,,,from that time and on , all the Danahers of Ireland descend from them, Maurice and Philip, Maurice line being well documented and finished , however the Philip side has some linking problems and really needs a genealogist to determine the lineage.
